The future of work is undoubtedly flexible. So what does this mean for leaders? 

It means that the leaders of the future will be the ones who adapt the fastest. It means that 'what got you here, won't get you there'. And more specifically it means that when it comes to leadership styles, empowerment is in and micromanagement is out. 

Becuase it's virtually impossible to lead a flexible and distributed team without trusting and empowering your team members.
