A TIP

Are you in back-to back meetings today? Tomorrow? Every. Single. Day?!

Back-to-back meetings are a disaster for our motivation, performance and health. Yet they are still the norm in many large organisations today.

Unless you're the CEO, it might feel like there's not much you can do about this.

Here are a few things you can try if you want to start a quiet (or noisy!) meeting revolution in your corner of the organisation:

  • Change all 30 minute meetings you arrange to 25 minutes, and all 1 hour meetings to 45 minutes. Encourage those around you to do the same.

  • Ditch all status report meetings in favour of email updates.

  • Politely decline all meetings requests where your attendance is not essential.

A QUESTION
